I rated this 5 stars because the cotton mesh side-split shorts are as advertised, and the material survived laundering just fine.
I think NDS has a potentially great RUNNING short here, with the cotton mesh material and split sides if it would include an interior drawstring and increase the length of the side seams by 2 inches and adjust the dimensions of the back and front panels and inseam correspondingly.

Great but rather pricey

As stated in the description, the material is quite see-through. 100% cotton and doesn't feel hot (unlike nylon, spandex or polyester), hence it can be worn as underwear inside pants all day. The leg openings are quite large so accidental upshorts exposure is a very real possibility. In a squatting position, almost all your jewels inside become visible. It's very erotic. I love it.

These side split shorts are great for kicking around & using for cover-up! I ware these wile doing my workout in the congenial area of my environments! They have a super cut, not too expose too much!
