THE REQUEST
Customers kept asking our Playtex brand team for a go-anywhere bra with sports bra performance and support: an "active bra" was the most-requested gap in the 18 Hour line.
THE IDEA
We listened, and developed sports-bra-inspired new bra concepts. At focus groups of Playtex bra customers, the Active Lifestyle bra was the best-received idea. A strong majority of respondents across every group indicated purchase interest.
The customers liked the idea of a bra that would go from the gym, to work, to shopping. They trusted Playtex bras to deliver uncompromising comfort and support.
THE DESIGN
We talked to Playtex customers about each design aspect of the actual bra -- from the straps to the supportive underbust band. The customers were particularly enthused about the breathable, moisture-wicking fabric.
THE RESULT
